Tonkin Parts Center – Management Assistant

·   Using Excel VBA, created an HTML page to display on large monitor showing all current work assigned and completed by warehouse employees by accessing data and reporting from ASW database refreshed on a timed interval.

·   With Access and Excel VBA/SQL/VBS, created .csv files on timed intervals to upload accurate snapshots of warehouse inventory stored in ASW database to Amazon dropship website and automated creation of Amazon invoices and shipping files also to be uploaded.

·   Automated manufacturing websites and catalogs to gather information to provide Amazon with merchandise management wanted to sell and created and automated ordering programs for Honda/Acura/Toyota/GM to fill special orders as well as stock orders for the warehouse.

 

Meijer’s – Systems Monitor

·   Repaired and maintained all networking elements such as fax/printer, VOIP phones and network connected cash registers.

·   Contacted third party vendors if contracted equipment failed such as hand held symbols.

·   Accessed velocity database and made appropriate alterations at the request of management to control pricing and quantity of merchandise to reflect sales.

·   Generated reports on error rate of individual departments within store to corporate headquarters to assess possible policy or implementation of stocking changes.

 

 

Central Michigan University – Student Web Developer

·   Created functional and professional websites for individual departments within the university while keeping in close contact with department chairs to tailor websites to reflect each department’s unique styles using the content management system Ingeniux.

·   Corrected websites built in Microsoft Frontpage by using the Peregrine ticketing system and elevated tickets when necessary.

·   Produced visually appealing graphics which performed specific actions such as contacting live assistance using Adobe products when requested by individual departments.

 

Steelcase, Inc. – Networking Technician Internship

·   Researched effective methods to reduce latency in network while connecting Asian call center to central datacenter in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

·   Documented and labeled all cabling in CDC datacenter to reduce interruptions in the network while dismantling the datacenter and relocating all equipment to new building.

·   Utilized various software to monitor network for issues such as down ports and troubleshoot all issues with switches and routers.
